Description
Mariposa, translated from Spanish, means Butterfly and there could be no more suitable name for the Mariposa Separé, composed of two glass “wings”, joined together with the help of two hinges. In the middle, between one wing and the other pane of the partition, is a gasket in the same color as the outer profile surrounding the glass, to create a chromatic match.
The wall joint and hinges have a system for raising the glass so that it adheres to the surface when open for a perfect seal, while when closed this mechanism raises the gasket.
The strength of the Mariposa partition is the fact that it can be folded back on itself after use, eliminating the obstacle of the fixed glass door and creating a space-saving closure, so the shower area becomes a space free of all constraints.
The aesthetic side is enhanced by the “non-presence” of the handle, which is replaced by a hole that facilitates and accompanies the opening and closing movement of the partition.
